Just because it hasn’t snowed enough to have a real snowball fight (or maybe it’s snowed so much you can’t stand the thought of another snowball fight) doesn’t mean you can’t pretend to have a snowball fight indoors. You can even make it educational!
Lindsay from Kiddo Korner shared her idea for a sight word snowball fight on Simply Kinder. Choose a few words, let kids practice writing or tracing them, have a bit of a fight and a bit of learning all in one.
Head over to Simply Kinder for all the details and a couple of snow-related books you can add to story time for after your “snowball fight.”

Explaining Dia de Los Muertos to kids can be difficult because most of us don’t generally talk about death or what happens when we die a lot with our kids. But Dia de los Muertos is actually a happy, not scary occasion that allows us to remember loved ones, share stories and come together as a community.
