Juneteenth is a celebration of the day (June 19, 1865) when the enslaved people of Texas learned that they had been freed. It is considered a second Independence Day and is a day of celebration in the Black community and beyond. Help kids learn about Juneteenth with these printables and activities.

In the Playroom has a great Juneteenth coloring, fact and activity book that includes coloring pages, a dot to dot, word search and scramble, facts, notebooking pages and more.
Red Ted Art has a printable cootie catcher with facts about Juneteenth, and a blank one where kids can add their own facts or questions. (You can buy the printable from her Teachers Pay Teachers page.)
Puzzle Master Debbie on Etsy has a printable collection of Juneteenth activities including mazes, a word search, trivia and more. In all it includes 60 games for kids and adults to learn more about Juneteenth and Black history.
Crayola has a nice Juneteenth Freedom Day coloring page, and Homeschool of 1 has a color by number featuring the date of the announcement.
