I have a dark secret: I never really learned my multiplication tables. I don’t know why, but multiplication was about the time I decided math was hard and I wasn’t going to be good at it no matter what I did so I stopped trying (way to go, self-fulfilling prophecy!).
My daughter is just starting to get into multiplication in school and soon she’ll probably be better at it than I am.
Unless we both start doing some coloring.
These multiplication mandalas from the Craft Train are a great way to learn your times tables and make pretty pictures at the same time. The solution to each multiplication problem is a color in the design.
The sheets go from 1-12 and each uses different geometric designs to keep it fun.
