Learning Activities Inspired by K-Pop Demon Hunters

My child is into anime but not at all into K-pop, so it took me a little while to catch on to that trend. But it’s been going long enough that there are now K-pop Demon Hunter inspired learning activities and games, so let’s take a look at some!

Blooming Brilliant Homeschoolers has a 30 page printable activity pack inspired by K-Pop Demon Hunters that includes letter and number recognition, cutting, tracing, pasting, addition, handwriting practice, mazes and more. You can download it free when you sign up with your email.

Halegrafx has a K-Pop Demon Hunters word search, and My Kid Colors has coloring pages. There’s another word search at Paper Trail Designs, as well as Monster Word Search.

You’ll find lots of goodies on Teachers Pay Teachers, including this 5-day bundle of activities from Reading and Writing Nook. It is aimed and 6-12th grades and includes Korean culture activities, figurative language analysis, a mask symbolic art activity and interactive movement game, among other things.

Clever Journey has a bingo game, addition and subtraction word problems and a writing prompt to finish the song lyrics. And English with Ease has a lesson plan with handouts and Google slides for middle and high school students. This one has an informational text about the movie, writing prompts, a mini research assignment and more.

Babosim on Etsy has a 70 page activity book for K-Pop Demon Hunters that includes color matching, word scrambles, dot to dots, mazes, tracing and more. This one is great for younger kids who already know the movie. IdeaBrainK has a more general K-pop themed set of activities including decoding emojis, mazes, word searches and more.

Shark Week generally happens in July, but any time is a good time to learn more about sharks.

First, start with some fun whale facts like these from Kids Craft Room. Here I learned about the dwarf lantern shark, which is the smallest shark and only grows to about 6-8 inches (about 15-20 cm) long. It also emits light. How cool is that?

Natural Beach Living has some great printable shark information guides, where kids can learn about different kinds of sharks, match the facts to the pictures, or print out doubles and do a shark memory game.

Living Life an Learning has some great shark activity pages including the parts of a shark, types of sharks, a crossword puzzle and more. Also check out their parts of a shark and word scramble download, and a life cycle worksheet.

Remember the “Sharknado” movie? A Few Shortcuts turned the combination of sharks and tornadoes into a fun science activity. You’ll need a bottle connector for this project but otherwise should have everything you need on hand. Use their template to make your sharks out of aluminum foil. So fun!
