So many of us rely on digital clock (or reading the time on our phones), but it’s still important for kids to learn how to tell time using a clock with hands.
This easy DIY clock from Playdough and Popsicles is a great way to help kids learn about time. She used a cardboad pizza round, but you could cut a round out of cardboard or even use a square or rectangular piece.
The numbers and hands of the clock are made out of foam, so you might have everything you need to make this already in your house.
The post also gives some ideas for helping kids learn about time, such as talking about what time it is and when things happen in your routine, reading books about time and using videos or apps to help teach about time.
If you have other ideas you’ve used to teach about time, I’d love to hear them!
