Vicki, from Art with Kids, turned a lump of clay into a fun art lesson for her class. While she created the stamp pictured here that ended up looking like Impatiens, she encouraged the children to experiment with different items to make impressions in their clay. She attached the clay stamps to a piece of wood and then she had them to experiment with more ink on the stamp and less ink on the stamp. There are plenty of ways for them to keep learning while they make art!
