Here’s a quick and easy Mother’s Day project to do with one kid or a whole classroom.
This Mother’s Day bookmark from Savvy Second Graders is a sweet printable that the kids use their fingerprints for to make a little flower.
It’s a great way to preserve a little one’s fingerprints and handwriting from different years, and a fun little classroom craft as well. You could also make them for the grandmothers in your kids’ lives.

Leif Erikson Day is celebrated on Oct. 9, and it’s a great time to learn more about the Vikings and why we still remember Erikson all these years later.
