
While New Years eve is a great day to encourage your family to create a time capsule, I like Kelli Crowe’s idea… While she initially planned on it being a New Years eve activity, it didn’t happen so instead she made it a year long project. As the year went on, her family members added items that had some meaning to them, such as movie tickets, business cards, notes, etc. They keep the jar on the bookshelf so it is handy and can be added to easily.

When my daughter was younger she had a ton of LEGO bricks, and I’m honestly a little sad we got rid of most of them because there are so many fun things to do with LEGOs outside of the kits you bought them in.
