If you want to start a discussion about the different seasons, now is the perfect time. This nature activity, which can easily be done outside, is made using 4 twigs you can gather from your yard. Attach the twigs to colored paper and encourage the kids to paint one for each season! Here you can see one covered inspiring buds, one in bright green, one turning orange with colorful leaves below it, and one covered with snow.
Jump on over to Edventures and read Jaquie’s tutorial about Painting Trees through the Seasons.
