When Allison’s daughter asked her if they could make a scarecrow, she said yes and then set about to find a variety of supplies they could use. She wanted to use materials that provided her daughter a variety of different textures to explore. They started out with a paper plate to use for the scarecrow’s head and then used felt, paper, buttons, yarn, and corrugated cardboard to create all of the face details. Talk about adorable!
