I am not a huge fan of hard peppermint candy (or any hard candies) but I am a fan of these adorable Christmas tree ornaments made using hard peppermint candies.
Shae, from Hello Homebody, made these amazing ornaments by arranging the candy in metal cookie cutters that were placed on a cookie sheet and then put in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes. She shares her experience and some great tips to help you make your own. She doesn’t mention doing anything to help preserve these to use them as ornaments year after year (I bet you could use several coats of spray sealer), but she does mention using them as edible decorations for your holiday treats.
Learn how to make your own peppermint candy ornaments using Shae’s tutorial.
When my daughter was younger she had a ton of LEGO bricks, and I’m honestly a little sad we got rid of most of them because there are so many fun things to do with LEGOs outside of the kits you bought them in.
