I decided to put my 3 and 4 year old into preschool this year as I spend some time with my youngest baby and prepare for homeschooling next year. At the end of each afternoon I ask the girls what their best part of the day was…they can hardly ever remember what they did. Perhaps it is because they are so stimulated there that everything just blends together, or maybe they just can’t be bothered to reach back into their little brains and recall what happened.
I think this book is just the answer. I can point to different areas of the room, and they can easily recall what they did in that area. It’s like directing their memory, and I can find out what they are doing! Modern Parents Messy Kids came up with the idea!
When my daughter was younger she had a ton of LEGO bricks, and I’m honestly a little sad we got rid of most of them because there are so many fun things to do with LEGOs outside of the kits you bought them in.
