I have seen plenty of turkey’s made using handprints and paint and plenty made out of pine cones. I think, though, that these are the first turkeys I have seen that are made by painting with a pine cone.
Allison, from No Time for Flashcards, made this a two part craft. First she had her daughter make a painting by putting a piece of paper into a box, squirt on a few different colors of paint, and roll a pine cone around in the paint to create a design. Once the paint is dry, You can use the painting to make the tail feathers of a turkey!
