St. Patrick’s Day is often associated with leprechauns, and where there are leprechauns there ought to be pots of gold and rainbows.
This darling pot of gold lacing craft from the Gingerbread House is a great way for littles to work on fine motor skills including lacing and tying.
If you’re doing this with really little kids, you’ll want to do the cutting a hole punching yourself, but older kids can do the whole activity by themselves (my nine year old would have lots of fun with it).
While you’re making it, talk about the colors of the rainbow, the legend of leprechauns and pots of gold, how to trap a leprechaun and more.
