It’s a wonderful day for the kid crafter when they realize that you can make a Christmas tree out of a triangle.
That simple shape is easy to cut and a great way for little ones to practice their scissor skills while making something cute and fun.
The OT Toolbox shows how to make this simple project into a motor skill activity. Practice gluing on the tree trunks, then grab dot markers to make ornaments on the trees, and you’ve got a great little craft you can use as decoration that involved lots of great motor skill practice.

Knowing the alphabet is the basis for learning how to read, so it’s important to get it down. Kids need to know the differences between letters, to be able to recognize their shapes and to know what sounds the letters make individually before they can start combining them in words.
