Making crafts for Ramadan is a lot of fun for kids, because it gives them something to focus on and a way to think about the observance at a time when they might not actually be participating in the fast. Also having some special decor around just makes the season more festive.
Use a printable template to make pretty Ramadan lanterns. This one is from Belaraby Apps, and you just need cardstock and tissue paper to make it. There are links to other crafts there as well if you like this one.
Another stained glass style decoration can be found in this video from dsypspt on Instagram. It involves cutting shapes out of cardboard and using tape or contact paper to attach colorful pieces of paper.
The crescent moon is an important symbol of the Muslim faith throughout the year, but it has a special significance during Ramadan, which begins and ends with the new moon. This crescent moon and stars mobile from NurtureStore is easy to make a decorate with any art supplies you have on hand. The version shown is done with scrape painting.

There are lots of printables you can use to make easy Ramadan crafts that you can find on Etsy, including these banners from Eid Collective that kids can color in and hang around the house. Peony Prints dot com has a cute little paper lantern for kids to color, and Paperism Shop has printable 3d mosque designs you can use to decorate for Ramadan or any other time of year.
