This fun winter craft is a great way to use photos of kids. The finished project would make a fun decoration or even a special gift. Start out by taking pictures of the kids. Have them act out something they would do in the snow, like building a snowman, making a snow angle, or catching snowflakes in their mouth. Cut out the photo and have them draw a simple winter scene around it. Top it off with some fake snow and a clear, plastic plate and you have a wonderful decoration!
You can find the directions along with printable templates on Tori’s Teacher Tips blog.

Knowing the alphabet is the basis for learning how to read, so it’s important to get it down. Kids need to know the differences between letters, to be able to recognize their shapes and to know what sounds the letters make individually before they can start combining them in words.
Looks fun. Want to try. Where can I find lesson plans?
