How cool is this craft? I can just see a teacher doing this with a classroom full of students with their eyes open wide just waiting for the beautiful outcome of the melting crayons….who’s in? Me, Me!! Visit whatever, and see how she did it!

Easter Activities for Preschoolers
Most schools seem to embrace the bunnies, chicks and eggs part of Easter even if they don’t talk about the religious aspects of the day. Here are some fun Easter activities for preschoolers you can do at school or at home.
I love this bunny hop gross motor activity from Teaching Littles, because you can do it inside or outside (though you’ll want to laminate the bunnies if you’re going to use it outside). You can also set it up like hopscotch, with the spots in a line or a zig zag or place some closer and some farther apart to do some hopping and bigger jumps.
Virtual Book Club for Kids has a week full of bunny activities that is inspired by the book Knuffle Bunny. It includes sensory play, alphabet activities, math activities, a snack and art activities. Within the post you’ll find links to other bunny themed book activities including Peter Rabbit and The Runaway Bunny.
Fizzing activities are always fun, and this one using plastic Easter eggs from Busy Toddler is easy to set up and littles will love it. If you need more ideas for what to do with plastic eggs, check out my post on learning activities using plastic eggs.
Practice scissors skills with these Easter eggs with different lines on them to practice curves and zig zags. They come from Taming Little Monsters. You can also make cut and past Easter eggs like these from Planes and Balloons to practice cutting, pattern matching, gluing and coloring.
Simple Mom Project has a cute cut and paste bunny your kids can make for even more cutting practice.
Or if you want a craft that’s a little more involved and personalized, you can make these pretty salt dough Easter eggs from Kids Activity Zone. Each kid can make their own ornament and paint it as they like for a sweet Easter gift.
Help – the link to “whatever” only opens up the picture for me! I would love to see the how to on this project!
