Most schools seem to embrace the bunnies, chicks and eggs part of Easter even if they don’t talk about the religious aspects of the day. Here are some fun Easter activities for preschoolers you can do at school or at home.
I love this bunny hop gross motor activity from Teaching Littles, because you can do it inside or outside (though you’ll want to laminate the bunnies if you’re going to use it outside). You can also set it up like hopscotch, with the spots in a line or a zig zag or place some closer and some farther apart to do some hopping and bigger jumps.
Virtual Book Club for Kids has a week full of bunny activities that is inspired by the book Knuffle Bunny. It includes sensory play, alphabet activities, math activities, a snack and art activities. Or if you want a craft that’s a little more involved and personalized, you can make these pretty salt dough Easter eggs from Kids Activity Zone. Each kid can make their own ornament and paint it as they like for a sweet Easter gift.
