Here’s a fun simple science experiment that uses items you already have in the house and can even have a bit of a Christmas theme.
Combining milk, dish soap and food coloring — the full details are at Little Bins for Little Hands — is a fun way to talk about the properties of liquids, and it just looks really cool, too.
You can add Christmas cookie cutters and use holiday colors to make it more of Christmas science project, or just use a shallow dish and whatever colors you have on hand.
