
Have you ever made your own scratch art? I remembering doing it years ago using color crayons. I never knew you could make scratch art using paint! Talk about a time saver, a crayon saver (one black crayon only goes so far), and a hand saver (have you ever tried covering an entire sheet of paper with a thick layer of crayon?). That being said, the tutorial on Itsy Bitsy Fun actually shares a few different options, some of which has you rubbing the colored design with a candle before you paint it black.

When my daughter was younger she had a ton of LEGO bricks, and I’m honestly a little sad we got rid of most of them because there are so many fun things to do with LEGOs outside of the kits you bought them in.
