
Have you ever made your own scratch art? I remembering doing it years ago using color crayons. I never knew you could make scratch art using paint! Talk about a time saver, a crayon saver (one black crayon only goes so far), and a hand saver (have you ever tried covering an entire sheet of paper with a thick layer of crayon?). Knowing the alphabet is the basis for learning how to read, so it’s important to get it down. Kids need to know the differences between letters, to be able to recognize their shapes and to know what sounds the letters make individually before they can start combining them in words.
