Make a Time Capsule to Mark the New Year

December 29, by Sarah White. Leave a Comment

This year will probably go down as the weirdest in most of our lifetimes, and while it’s easy to want to just forget about it and show it the door, it’s worth taking time to remember some of the good things that have happened this year, too.

Red Ted Art has an idea to make a time capsule of the year, which I think would be especially valuable this year because it’s one we’re all going to want to remember and people who aren’t alive now will want to know what it was like.

You can use a jar to hold memories (written or drawn) or physical objects that represent the year like a face mask or a drawing of a ballot to commemorate the election, if you’re an American, for example.

Head to Red Ted Art for all the details on this lovely way to mark the end of the year. Or start one for next year where you can write down all the good things that happen and store them in the jar through the year to be read next New Year’s Eve.
